This page explains how to delete your Booknize account and the data associated with it.
Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app
- Open the Booknize app (or booknize.com) and sign in.
- Go to Account → Settings → Privacy & data.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
Your account is scheduled for deletion with a 3-day grace period in case you change your mind. After the grace period it is permanently removed. You can cancel during the grace period by signing in again.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
Email info@gowawe.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify the request and delete your account.
What data is deleted
- Your profile: name, email, phone number, profile photo
- Your library: favorites, collections, highlights, and notes
- Your reviews and ratings
- Your reading and listening history and in-app activity
- Your AI assistant (Mindora) conversations
What is kept, and for how long
- Basic activity and security logs: up to 90 days, then deleted.
- Records we are legally required to keep (for example, accounting or dispute resolution): retained only for as long as the law requires, then deleted or anonymized.
